Taiwanese artist Lin Shu Kai presented a performance themed around 'drifting' by cycling through the streets of Jeju.
This performance complements his exhibition, 〈Island Travel Notes of the City Rickshaw Project〉 currently on display at the Jeju Museum of Art, offering audiences a unique visual experience.
In his work, Lin embodies the 'Ferryman,' a symbolic figure who alleviates the burdens of reality and guides individuals toward a utopian space where they can pursue their dreams.
At the Jeju Biennale, the Ferryman's realm expands to Jeju, drifting through various exhibition spaces as if navigating, continuing the narrative of the artwork. We invite everyone to engage with and participate in this immersive experience.
