On Monday, September 9th, a press conference for the 2024 4th Jeju Biennale was held at the SeMA Hall of the Seoul Museum of Art. During the event, a teaser video was unveiled, marking the beginning of the 2024 4th JEJU BIENNALE .

Titled "The Drift of Apagi: The Way of Water, Wind, and Stars" the exhibition explores the theme of "drift." This concept delves into the diverse stories of Jeju, born at the crossroads of chance and necessity, and reinterprets them from an artistic perspective, offering new insights and inspiration.

In 661, a fateful drift led to significant changes, particularly for Apagi, the prince of the ancient Jeju Kingdom of Tamna In the 7th century.

Where will the path of water, wind, and stars lead him?
